Have your say on future pharmacy services

Hywel Dda University Health Board is inviting the people from Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire to give their views on community pharmacy services.

Initial information, which was gathered through a survey in November last year, has been used to prepare a draft Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment. This assessment looks at where pharmacies are located and how far patients have to travel, what services pharmacies offer and if current services meet the needs of the communities they serve.

The health board is now asking for people’s opinions on the draft Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment, prior to publishing a final version in October. Feedback is needed to check that all relevant information is included and the conclusions on pharmacy services are appropriate. The information provided will support the health board in making decisions to develop and improve pharmacy services in the future.

The survey asks questions about current pharmacy provision and allows people to comment on any aspect of pharmacy services and the conclusions in the document.

The survey will be open between 7 May 2021 to 6 July 2021. People can get involved by visiting: https://www.haveyoursay.hduhb.wales.nhs.uk/pharmaceutical-needs-assessment-2021, picking up a paper copy at their local pharmacy, or contacting the health board’s Community Pharmacy Team to request a copy by email: CommunityPharmacy.HDD@wales.nhs.uk or by telephone: 01554 783746.

The results will be published in a final Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment in October 2021 and published on the health board’s website.

For more information or if you have questions about completing the survey, please email CommunityPharmacy.HDD@wales.nhs.uk or call 01554 783746.

Dweud eich dweud am wasanaethau fferyllol y dyfodol

Mae Bwrdd Iechyd Prifysgol Hywel Dda yn gwahodd pobl o Sir Gaerfyrddin, Ceredigion a Sir Benfro i roi eu barn ar wasanaethau fferyllol cymunedol.

Defnyddiwyd gwybodaeth gychwynnol, a gasglwyd trwy arolwg ym mis Tachwedd y llynedd, i baratoi Asesiad Anghenion Fferyllol drafft. Mae’r asesiad hwn yn edrych ar ble mae fferyllfeydd wedi’u lleoli a pha mor bell y mae’n rhaid i gleifion deithio, pa wasanaethau y mae fferyllfeydd yn eu cynnig ac a yw’r gwasanaethau cyfredol yn diwallu anghenion y cymunedau y maent yn eu gwasanaethu.

Mae’r bwrdd iechyd bellach yn gofyn am farn pobl ar yr Asesiad Anghenion Fferyllol drafft, cyn cyhoeddi fersiwn derfynol ym mis Hydref. Mae angen adborth i wirio bod yr holl wybodaeth berthnasol wedi’i chynnwys a bod y casgliadau ar wasanaethau fferyllol yn briodol. Bydd y wybodaeth a ddarperir yn cefnogi’r bwrdd iechyd i wneud penderfyniadau i ddatblygu a gwella gwasanaethau fferyllol yn y dyfodol.

Mae’r arolwg yn gofyn cwestiynau am y ddarpariaeth fferyllol gyfredol ac yn caniatáu i bobl wneud sylwadau ar unrhyw agwedd ar wasanaethau fferyllol a’r casgliadau yn y ddogfen.

Bydd yr arolwg ar agor rhwng 7 Mai 2021 a 6 Gorffennaf 2021. Gall pobl gymryd rhan trwy ymweld â: https://www.dweudeichdweud.biphdd.cymru.nhs.uk/asesiad-o-anghenion-fferyllol-2021 gan godi copi papur yn eu fferyllfa leol, neu gysylltu â Thîm Fferylliaeth Cymunedol y bwrdd iechyd i ofyn am gopi trwy e-bost:

CommunityPharmacy.HDD@wales.nhs.uk neu dros y ffôn: 01554 783746.

Cyhoeddir y canlyniadau mewn Asesiad Anghenion Fferyllol terfynol ym mis Hydref 2021 a’u cyhoeddi ar wefan y bwrdd iechyd.
